Sentinel OSINT Field Toolkit ("Sentinel", "the App") is designed for licensed private investigators, corporate security professionals, and investigative journalists. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Sentinel collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:
All data is encrypted on your device using AES-256-CBC encryption with HMAC-SHA256 integrity verification. Encryption keys are stored in the iOS Secure Enclave and never leave your device. We do not have access to your data.
When you use AI-powered features (Pro subscription), your search queries are sent to our secure backend server for processing. Queries are not stored or used for training purposes. The AI service is powered by Anthropic Claude.
When you perform searches, the App may query publicly available law enforcement databases including FBI Most Wanted and Interpol Red Notices. These queries are made directly to public APIs and are not logged by us.
Subscription payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchases. We do not collect or store payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your investigation data remains on your device at all times.
Sentinel is intended for licensed professionals only. Users are responsible for compliance with applicable laws including FCRA, DPPA, and state privacy laws when conducting investigations.
You can delete all app data at any time through Settings → Security → Wipe All Data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
